Pierre G. Gagnon , , , Chairman & Interim Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gagnon is past-CEO and Chairman of Medic Holdings Inc. (Medic), a leader in Canadian foot care and effective March 2017, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agility Health. Medic owns and operates 12 foot care clinics in Ontario and Quebec and through its manufacturing division, is a leading manufacturer of custom orthotics, bracing and prosthetic devices. Mr. Gagnon has spent more than 30 years working with middle-market companies, helping them grow, restructure or transition. Mr. Gagnon currently serves as a director for several public companies including Altitude Resources Inc., Baymount Corp., and Spruce Ridge Resources Limited. Over the last 25 years, Mr. Gagnon has also held officer and/or director positions with a number of other public and privately-held companies including Abba Medix Group Inc., Dealnet Capital, Pisces Capital Corp., Spot Coffee (Canada Limited) Ltd., Tangarine Payment Solutions Corp and The Mint Corporation. Pierre is a member of the advisory boards to private equity funds Shotgun Fund and Succession Fund.

Mr. Gagnon is an active supporter of the community in which he resides and is a director of Oakville Galleries. He is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

Kenneth E. Scholten , , PT , , President

Ken Scholten is President of Agility Health. His senior executive roles are in corporate strategy, business development, and client relationship management. Having joined Agility Health in 1977, Scholten has dedicated his entire professional career to expanding and improving the company's ability to serve its clients, partners and patients. He has been instrumental in helping to grow Agility Health and has been involved in the evolution of virtually all facets of operations.

Scholten's leadership experience has included diverse clinical and management responsibilities, from those of staff therapist and clinical manager, V.P. Human Resources, to Chief Operating Officer. His career began in contract therapy management, with oversight for establishing clinical service contracts with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.

In 2003, he and partner Steve Davidson led the management buyout of Agility Health.

Scholten is a licensed physical therapist in both Michigan and Indiana. He was a corporate member of the Michigan Minority Business Development Council and has served as a board member for Unity Christian High School and foundation trustee for Allendale Christian School. He is also actively involved in the Kids Hope USA mentoring program serving Allendale Public Schools.

Scholten earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Wayne State University. He and his wife Carol reside in Allendale, Mich.

Patrick Reid , , , Chief Financial Officer

As Agility Health’s CFO, Patrick Reid leads the company’s financial services including revenue cycle, treasury management, financial statement preparation and reporting compliance. He also provides executive leadership for strategic initiatives including expansion of services, new markets, and affiliation opportunities. As a member of the company's Executive Team, Patrick participates in leading Agility in strategic and operational direction.

Reid joined Agility Health from Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital as VP of Physician Practices and previously at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids where he served in the role of CFO and CEO for over almost 10 years. Reid has worked over 25 years in healthcare and including single specialty practices through large integrated health systems. Reid has significant experience in revenue cycle, finance and operations of physician practices including the specialties of Orthopaedics, Cardiology, ENT, Pulmonary Medicine and Primary Care. While working at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan Patrick served in leadership capacity over outpatient surgery centers where over 5,000 surgeries were performed annually. Prior to working at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan Patrick work in a consulting role for companies such as Navigant Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.

Reid holds a Masters of Accountancy and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

Patrick and his wife, Cheri and two boys reside in East Grand Rapids Michigan.

Joseph F. Laurent , , MBA , , Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Compliance Officer

With more than 25 years of experience as a human resource professional, Joe Laurent serves as Agility Health's Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Compliance Officer.

In this capacity, Laurent directs all aspects of employee relations, benefits, compensation strategy and payroll, policy formulation and interpretation, and HRIS systems for the company's multi-state team of nearly 1,000 employees. He also leads the company's recruiting activity and has been instrumental in driving increased effectiveness and efficiencies for this critical function. In addition, in his role as corporate compliance officer, Laurent oversees the company's compliance and risk programs.

Prior to joining Agility Health in 2006, Laurent was vice president, human resources at Van Eerden Foodservice, where his experience included directing employee relations and communications during a corporate merger and reorganization, advising and training the company's management on key HR-related issues, and achieving significant gains in employee safety. Previously, he was senior regional HR manager for a Michigan-based division of Tyco International, where he performed broad HR responsibilities for a team of 800 engineering professionals, and managed the implementation of multiple corporate restructurings. Earlier in his career, from 1987 to 1995, he held a series of HR positions with progressive responsibility at Bil Mar Foods, a division of Sara Lee Corporation.

Laurent's professional affiliations include membership in the Society for Human Resource Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and psychology from Aquinas College and an MBA from Western Michigan University.

Michael Daray , , , General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Michael Daray joined the Executive Team at Agility Health in 2015. As General Counsel, Daray provides senior management with advice on company strategies and their implementation, manages the legal function and processes of Agility Health, and obtains and oversees the work of outside counsel. In this capacity, he helps facilitate complex business transactions, participates in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs, and provides continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters affecting Agility Health. Prior to joining Agility Health, Daray was a partner with Law Weathers, where he represented a variety of privately-held and publicly-traded companies, including automotive, food packaging, pharmaceutical, and medical device businesses. He assisted these clients in complex commercial transactions, including supply and sourcing arrangements, licensing and financing (both debt and equity). Daray also worked extensively with sellers and buyers (both strategic and financial) in a variety of acquisitions, including recapitalizations, mergers, stock purchases, asset purchases, and stock redemptions. Prior to joining Law Weathers, Daray was a partner with a Traverse City law firm, and worked with clients on business, healthcare, and real estate matters. Daray is a frequent speaker on, and has authored articles about, business and healthcare law topics. He is the past Chair of the Grand Rapids Bar Association’s Business and Taxation Law Section, and previously volunteered for the Grand Rapids area SCORE chapter.

Daray graduated from the University of Michigan, and obtained his juris doctorate cum laude from the University of Minnesota School of Law. He resides with his wife and two children in Ada, Michigan.

Brian Potter , , , Vice President, Outpatient Clinic Services

Brian Potter provides leadership and management to nine Agility Health subsidiary companies, Ford Motor Company, and a large hospital client. This Agility Health service line annually provides 375,000 patient visits across 11 states. He provides management direction and support to these business units while maintaining a high level of clinical performance and business achievement.

In 1996, Potter joined Agility Health as a staff clinician through an Agility hospital joint venture (Advent Physical Therapy). In 2008, he was promoted to Advent’s management team and currently serves as Vice President.

Potter earned a Bachelors in Health Science degree in 1990 and a Masters in Physical Therapy in 1992 from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He and his wife, Michele, have three children and reside in Wayland, Michigan.
